We are currently seeking an IT Intern who shares our passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to transforming lives.

Position Summary:

The IT intern will be responsible for supporting the IT department by completing projects and tasks as defined by the Director of IT. The specific assignments will be tailored to skillset. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setting up computer equipment for validation and verification
  • Troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues
  • Assisting in larger IT projects, as appropriate
  • Job related training
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education/ Certifications:

  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing towards Undergraduate or Graduate-Level major in a related field

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to apply simple to advanced mathematical calculations and operations that apply to the projects and tasks assigned.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems as necessary for the assigned tasks. Additionally applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and internet application, or specific engineering or business software. Additionally, the selected individual should have:

  • Windows 10, 11 and Server experience
  • Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu) experience
  • Desktop / Laptop hardware experience

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required as direct engagement with project team is expected
  • Strong written communication skills, can include technical and documentation
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision while being self-motivated, a team player, and multitask in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Strong time and workload management skills including the ability to meeting deadlines
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution ability
